Into the Wild

We were originally inspired by the movie Into the Wild. Christopher McCandless reinvents himself as Alexander Supertramp and sets off to live a life of adventure, searching for new experiences and fresh perspectives. A famous quote in the movie is "Make each day a new horizon," which is what we have been inspired to do!

 

New Horizons

 

We currently travel the country in our truck camper.  We have downsized, simplified, and have chosen to live life intentionally.  What does that mean to us?  We live in the moment, trying to absorb the sights and sounds of this beautiful country. Not just hearing the birds in the background of life, but listening to them.  Listening to the wind, being captivated by the abundant stars. We are intrigued by history, culture, and beauty.  We love opening our camper door to a new view.  We often boondock or camp in dispersed spots (free), allowing us to enjoy nature.  This lifestyle has become priceless!

A Day in the Life

​

Typically we wake and have coffee and breakfast.  We often take a morning walk and then work an average of 5 hours, having lunch while we work remotely.  Afterward, we explore!  We enjoy walking, hiking, and sightseeing.  This is also the time that we record content (photos and videos). Our content may be used in this blog, in our marketing, or just for our memories! We love to see the sun set, especially since we are not awake to see the sun rise! 😴  We make dinner in our camper and usually stream a show. Our days have a great balance of work and play!  And about every week or so we have a reset day.  A reset is when we get our propane refilled, top off fuel in our GMC, do laundry, grocery shop, and enjoy the drive.  Our refrigerator is very small, but I consider myself the Refrigerator Whisperer.  I have become very talented at making a week's worth of cold groceries fit!  Lol.
